The thoughts that fill my mind of “maybe it’s worse, I’m in my 30’s now.” The hope that one day, a surgeon would be able to fix them somehow. The pain of having the retinal specialist shine bright lights in my eyes through a magnifying glass that makes them hurt a thousand times worse, for hours afterward.
